They don’t have children yet, so they want to use this bathroom as a luxurious bathroom to relax in the bath, provide a lovely space for guests and visitors to use, and also to be practical for when they do have children. We used a lovely soft palette of greys, including Carrara fishtail mosaic tiles and a soft large scale grey tile. This has been combined with a light oak timber fronted vanity and luxurious pops of warm colour through the brass fittings. Great lighting has been provided with a sensor operated LED light strip under the vanity, an LED light strip in the large tiled niche above the bath, an LED front lit mirror and good general lighting. In full relaxation mode they can just switch on the LED lighting and light some candles. When this bathroom is being used for busy family life there is a good amount of storage in the vanity, a large shower and a lot of floor space in front of the bath for bathing small children.
