Custom recessed handles were also included for a streamline look that is easy to use and maintain. Large format tiles were specified on the walls for a smooth minimal look. Less lines and grout seams were a favourite detail for the walls. The floor was a complete contrast, using small herringbone mosaics in a Carrara stone look mix – creating a detailed pattern and a nice texture under foot. This also created a better nonslip floor surface in the large walk-in shower and general en suite floor.Feature pendant lights sit safely to the side of the freestanding Apaiser bath and integrated task lighting has been designed into the vanity joinery for optimal light for make-up and dressing. A beautiful freestanding black stone Apaiser bath sits to the back of the ensuite, in the centre of the large picture window that looks onto a private bush reserve. Matching black stone Apaiser basins sit on each side of the room creating a yours & mine set up. To complement the Eveneer Almond joinery, tapware in a special metal tobacco finish was selected to contrast against the black stone basins and bath, and also to pick up the golden honey tones of the Eveneer Almond veneer in the joinery.A private toilet space sits alongside the shower with a matching glass pivot door as the shower. A large custom sliding door was also designed between the master bedroom and ensuite to give privacy to the bed area when needed but also to provide a completely open look from the bedroom through to the ensuite for the everyday setup. The ensuite materials are rich, dynamic and of high quality and attention to detail was applied to every element. The owner was thrilled with the result.
