From the designer:

The owner's brief was to create a master bedroom suite that would be functional and practical with a luxurious, relaxing feel.

Seamlessly connecting the bedroom, ensuite and walk-in-robe was essential to creating a sense of harmony in an open-plan layout.

We created a feature V-groove panelling wall, that is stylish and simple, yet divides the bedroom and allows for privacy and functionality for an extensive walk-in robe at the back.

A playful mix of texture and colour allowed us to add to a relaxing feel with luxury touches to the space – we used Dulux Happy Days, a blue hue paint colour, that represent balance and tranquillity.

For the master ensuite, pairing a natural timber vanity and grey terrazzo tiles implements a fresh and timeless colour/material palette, with some kit kat feature tiles creating contrast and interest.

We maximised the space with a generous walk in shower, double vanity and plenty of storage to keep the bathroom clutter behind closed doors.

The skylight above the bath tub and the high ceiling, lighten and brighten the bathroom and allow for natural light to stream through.

The master suite – smoothly and clearly transitioning from one space to the next and with custom joinery tailored to each area and specific needs of the couple – creates the perfect parent retreat and relaxing feel the owners were after.
