Strong linear elements in the ensuite are softened, and the patina and textural variation within the tiles highlighted, both by the mitred detailing and extensive lighting throughout – adding grandeur to the master bathroom.Continuation of materiality from the kitchen, pantry and laundry, sees the use of 12mm Dekton Sake as the elongated benchtop – an industrial concrete-look finish offers contrast to the depths of the Shau Sugi Organic Melteca cabinetry and provides a surface resistant to direct heat contact from hair straighteners, while providing ample workspace for dual use.Repetition of shape and materiality adds depth and softness to the overall scheme of the master suite design. Linear details feature in the JH Oblique headboard wall in the bedroom, in the large niche and recess details in the ensuite, in the reeded glass pivot door with linear knurled D-pull and in the extensive built in cabinetry in the walk-in robe.Curved and fluid forms abound in the hand-poured concrete basins, tapware, mirrors, pendant lights, cylindrical heated towel poles and circular bronze knobs while crushed textured wall-to-wall curtains offers a rhythmic cohesion and refined elegance to expertly balance the masculine colour palette and create a welcoming haven.
