Blue tiles, brass highlights, a custom timber vanity and built-in storage combine to create a relaxing vibe for this master ensuite in a character home

Designed by Mona Humen, Callidus Architects

From the architects:

The design intent was to provide the owner with a luxurious ensuite with relaxing intimate spaces from where to start their day.

The warm and welcoming hues of the ensuite is off set by the feature blue tiles, which, combined with the brass tapware and high quality fittings, creates an intimate high end space in which to relax and unwind.

Discreet inbuilt features handle the practicalities of an ensuite, providing lots of hidden storage, while the custom vanity sets off the overall feel and consistency of the design language.

Working with an existing space in an old character building, the sash windows were double glazed plus additional strengthening for level entry showers and the wet room design was carried out.

The completed ensuite suits the owners to a tee.
