The basement whiskey bar
This new whiskey bar takes advantage of a previously unused basement in a French restaurant
Designer: jbmn architectes
From the designer: This new bar takes advantage of the basement in La Maison du Sake – a restaurant in rue Tiquetonne in Paris. The aim of the project was to utilise the small rooms within the basement, creating five separate thematic pieces. It's now the ideal spot to consume whiskey. Each of the spaces features an impressive natural stone ceiling, with the rooms also featuring metal and oak.
