There's a lot to be said for a flooring product that is pre-finished before it is delivered to your home. Heavy-duty, commercial-grade machinery in the factory ensures the best possible finish is obtained, and the unpleasant stages of sanding and lacquering are carried out before the floor is laid in your home.

Readylay specialises in supplying pre-finished, solid timber floorings. The company carries a large stock, so it can fulfil orders quickly. Customers can choose from more than 16 different species, most of which are high-density, hardwood timbers. The range includes maple, Ipe (walnut), oak, red wood, kwila, Cumaru (chestnut), beech, cherry birch, ash, kulim, kempas and bamboo.

All floors are made from solid, sustainable, kiln-dried, tongue and groove timbers, which are pre-finished to a thickness of 18mm.

With six coats of German Klumpp Miraphen® UV-curing lacquer on the top side and three coats on all other sides including the base of the plank, each length of timber is completely sealed and protected against moisture from the sub-floor and gaps.

Readylay's owner says this method of sealing the timber means its moisture content remains constant over the life of the floor. This minimises shrinkage and movement once the floor is laid.
