What better way to promote the functionality of a product than to incorporate it into the design of its manufacturer's main office?

This is precisely what CS For Doors decided to do with its cavity sliders when the company set about creating its new headquarters. Architect Godward Guthrie was asked to design a building that would showcase the door company's sliding door technology. As a result, sliding doors and partitions are an integral part of its architecture, making it an ideal place to do business, says national marketing and sales manager Anton Hendriks.

"The objective was to highlight the functionality and diversity of our sliders, and also create a lasting look that would prove itself over time," he says.

"We wanted to incorporate as many internal and external sliding doors into the design as possible, but the architecture also needed to provide an efficient and ergonomic office environment."
