The initial homeowner brief presented a clear directive to renovate the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom of a 1930s house while preserving the property's authentic features and infusing a modern aesthetic.
Our design philosophy was centred on the owner's lifestyle.
We actively solicited their input throughout the process to meet their requirements.
As the brief expanded, the owner decided to renovate the master ensuite on the first floor, as well.
A new contemporary design was created by using fibreglass wallpaper in the wet area to create a unique look.
It is a technology used and tested in Italy but is still new in Australia.
Throughout the property, we used a variety of unique materials while keeping the original features of the house.
Overall, we were delighted to work with the owner and realise their vision – creating a space that meets their needs and expectations.
