A new house is never truly a home until the finishing details are added. This luxury clifftop home, built by Glover Developments, features a number of innovative finishing touches, both indoors and out.
We all need home comforts, whether it be warming our hands in front of an open fire, or putting our feet up and watching a good movie. In this home the owners are able to do both.
Stonemason Mark Whyman from The Natural Stone Fireplace Co. handcrafts natural stone fire surrounds, archways, doorways and garden features in both modern and traditional designs. His services include design, carving and installation.
"Natural stone has a beauty all of its own. I can provide individual fireplaces that enhance a room and complement the decor," he says.
Audio Video Interiors custom-installs home audio and video systems so that wiring and componentry is hidden away from view. In this home the componentry is located in a cabinet next to the fireplace and the television screen is recessed into the chimney. The owner can control the system, which includes 10 sets of loudspeakers, using keypads placed around the home.
