Classic and private
This light-filled master suite separates bathroom and dressing room for a hotel spa-like feel. Screened privacy and lush garden outlooks are also both part of the equation

From the homebuilder:
The owners’ brief was for a large semi-open plan bedroom-bathroom suite with a separate large walk-in robe, situated away from the other bedrooms.
To achieve this we created a private suite at one end of the home and put in a double sized cavity door so that the free standing bath and large windows – and future landscaping – would be visible from the bed.

The walk-in robe was deliberately placed on the opposite side of the master suite to bring a spa-like feel to the en suite.
The owners asked for large floor to ceiling windows to admit plenty of natural light and sun into the area.
However, the property is in a subdivision with fairly close neighbours so we also had to address the privacy issues. We achieved this through the introduction of white shutter venetian which were not only aesthetically pleasing but also allowed in plenty of light and could be adjusted to suit.
We also used some exterior baton fencing which we set back from of the windows to allow for a degree of landscaping and further planting that would be visible when soaking in the bath.
The owners wanted a hotel-like, classic yet modern bathroom suite that wouldn’t date. As part of this, we used high quality fixtures and fittings and paid close attention to their placement.
