The wall hung vanity is the highlight of the room.We split the standard vanity into two separate overlapping units as we wanted to have a sleek, thick stone slab vanity top but completely floating for a luxurious statement. At the same time we optimised the practical utility of the vanity by adding in extra surface space and a large drawer to hide away the clutter of daily necessities. The surface space and open shelves also give the owner opportunities to decorate the bathroom with their personal preferences. With the introduction of larger floating wall hung slabs like this, especially stone finished, there could potentially be issues with waterproofing, movement and stability after long term usage. So of course we took this into consideration and made this top very stable, with excellent waterproofing workmanship. We used a concealed installation method for the pole towel warmers. These not only add an interesting accent into the room, their clean finish also visually enlarges the bathroom’s sense of space.
