Just as clothing collections are launched to give consumers fresh ideas, so too are fashion paint collections. Building on the success of the last Karen Walker paint collection, the partnership between the Karen Walker fashion house and Resene continues with the launch of a new range.

Walker says her new colour collection was inspired by the Bauhaus school of the 1920s, which created and combined colours to tell a story from an emotional viewpoint, rather than a technical one.

"The collection includes six colour stories that are true to the Karen Walker style they play with the combining of opposites, putting colours together in surprising ways."

The new 42-colour designer fandeck includes popular hues from the original Karen Walker range, eye-catching metallics, muted, burnished colours and cheerful, warm shades.

Decorators can combine the collection with their favourite Resene paints.
