TIDA 2019 New Zealand Imported Kitchen of the Year Winner – Matisse

Early in the initial briefing process for the design of their new kitchen, the owners of this home emphasised two key aspects – they loved to entertain and they loved timber.
While Natural Oak features prominently in the final design, strategic use of subtly patterned stone on the island and splashback ensures it doesn’t over dominate.
Meanwhile, a table setting attached to the island provides a place for casual dining, despite the tight space available.
The TIDA judges felt this Arclinea kitchen perfectly meets the clients’ requirements – and also noted how the successful design also set the tone for renovation of adjacent areas in the home.
Congratulations to Matisse – our 2019 TIDA New Zealand Imported Kitchen winner.
