Professional approach
When you're embarking on a new kitchen project, it pays to talk to an NKBA member. The owners of this Napier home worked with Divine Design
For most people, planning a new kitchen is a one-off project so it's easy to feel overwhelmed by new materials, products and technology.
Working with a member of the National Kitchen & Bathroom Association can take away that apprehension. NKBA designers are fully up to date with the latest products and trends, and can oversee your project right through to installation.
Napier NKBA member Teresa Daly of Divine Design designed this kitchen, which was manufactured by Rawcraft Kitchens, also an NKBA member.
Teresa Daly says the design allows more than one person to work in the kitchen at the same time. As well as providing ample bench space, the kitchen includes an additional food preparation sink to the right of the main sink.
A large island is the focal point of the space. It features a butchers block top, made from hundreds of blocks of end-grainrimu. The warm tones of the counter top balance the crisp look of the lacquered and frosted glass cabinetry, Silestone benchtops and stainless steel appliances.
Small appliances are concealed behind a partitioning wall.
