An indoor working environment needs to be well ventilated and set at a comfortable temperature. Not only is this an important aid to staff productivity, it is also a legal requirement.
Fujitsu General recently launched its new generation Airstage V-Series air conditioning system. This high-performance multi-air conditioning Variable Refrigerant Flow solution is designed to service a variety of commercial applications and offers a number of improvements on earlier systems.
To make installation easier in large buildings, the Airstage V-Series has been designed to accommodate a longer piping system, allowing pipe runs up to 150m long between indoor and outdoor units, and pipes up to 60m long to be connected between the first separation tube and the furthest indoor unit.
Milton Kaloudis, marketing manager for Fujitsu, says improvements to the compressor operation and the introduction of a primary inverter compressor mean the Airstage V-Series is better equipped to maintain a constant and comfortable indoor environment all year round. New compressor rotation also equalises the load on each compressor to make the system more durable and reliable. A three-way oil control system further optimises compressor efficiency.
For improved comfort, high precision control technology allows the Airstage V-Series to maintain the set room temperature to within 0.5°.
The system offers design freedom by allowing three outdoor units to be connected together in series, and up to 48 indoor units to be run on one refrigerant piping system.
It can also be configured with a combination of indoor units to suit the precise air conditioning needs of specific rooms.
With a choice of cassette, floor, under-ceiling, ducted or wall-mounted indoor units, the Airstage V-Series can be installed in both new and existing buildings.
