It's all white
To provide a fresh, environmentally friendly finish in Club Tower, walls are painted in Resene Alabaster in Resene Zylone Sheen VOC Free
Streamlined simplicity is the order of the day for modern office interiors, and Club Tower is no exception. The design team specified walls throughout the interior to be painted in Resene Alabaster a near white with a hint of black from the Resene The Range Whites & Neutrals fandeck.
Environmental Choice-approved Resene Zylone Sheen VOC Free waterborne low sheen was specified for this project, to provide a visually pleasing low-sheen finish.
Resene has a long history of pioneering moves to more environmentally friendly paints. The company introduced waterborne paints in the 1950s, and undertook the removal of lead in all paints in the 1970s. In 1996, the company took a further step forward, joining the Environmental Choice programme.
Marketing manager Karen Warman says becoming part of the programme gave Resene the impetus to solve the common problem of headaches caused by strong smelling paint.
The latest development from the company is Resene Non VOC tinters, which enable a full colour range to be tinted free of VOCs, for better air quality. This can help prevent headaches, asthma, nausea, respiratory complaints and allergic reactions. It also provides a better working environment for the professional or amateur painter.
