To enhance both the comfort and visual appeal of the Westpac on Takutai Square office environment, designer Sarah Langford-Tebby of Jasmax Interiors specified a number of specialty acoustic ceiling and wall panels. The panels, supplied by Forman Building Systems, reinforce the different colour theme of each floor.

Acoustics in the meeting rooms are optimised by FabriTrak® stretch site-fabricated panels. The textures of the fabrics, as well as the colours, change on each level.

John Kitchen, market manager ceilings, says the general open-plan office areas feature Armstrong RH99 Ultima 1500mm x 500mm Tegular-edge acoustic ceiling panels in Armstrong Peakform Steel Grid. "Ultima, a product with top-of-the-line green credentials, has particularly good acoustic properties, a high recycled content, high impact resistance and durability."

Armstrong Metalworks ceiling panels were installed in other areas of the building, using three different installation techniques. These panels add another visual dimension, says Kitchen.

Vector Edge 500mm x 500mm tiles feature on Level One. These tiles allow easy access to the services above, and are impact and scratch resistant. In the executive office areas, Clip-In 500mm x 500mm tiles were used; and 1500mm x 500mm Lay-In panels feature in the boardroom.
