To create a calm and comfortable ambience, colours throughout the house were chosen from a neutral palette.

In the living, dining and kitchen area, Resene Zylone Sheen in Resene Half Hillary gives the walls a warm, contemporary look. Skirtings, ceilings, door and window frames were painted in Resene Bianca, a light cream often used as a warmer alternative to white. For a softer look, Resene Robins Egg Blue from the Karen Walker Paints collection was chosen for the master suite.
