They wanted a no expense spared statement that would be both beautiful and practical. As such, all appliances and finishes had to be first grade.The island presents as a solid mass of stone illuminated from above by a delicate designer light fitting that even has a plant growing out of it.The choices of rich tones provide the sense of luxury and opulence without looking ostentatious. Great design attention was necessary to create a clean and seamless work space that is both minimalistic in detail but also expressive in terms of artistry and luxury.Responding to the owners’ requirements for both entertainment and cooking, the layout is both practical and as generous as possible.Equipped with cutting-edge fixtures and appliances, this renovation maximises the area to achieve ample storage space.All appliances are concealed behind cabinets and roller shutters. A luxurious natural stone benchtops with a textured leather finish is complemented by timber veneer panels and matt surfaces.
