Two kitchens in one Smeg appliances rule

There are two essential elements to a kitchen that can remove all the pressure when you're entertaining having plenty of space to work, and the right appliances for the job.

This kitchen has both. Designed by Heather Wood CKDNZ of Inside Vision, the kitchen is really two in one, thanks to an extra-large butler's pantry. The main kitchen features a large island with a sink and bar stools, and several of the latest Smeg appliances.

A Smeg 90cm freestanding cooker is teamed with a high-extraction Smeg Powerpack. The cooker has eight functions, a 126-litre capacity and provides four cooking levels, so several dishes can be cooked simultaneously. There is also a 41-litre, full-width storage compartment for trays and dishes.

The main kitchen features a Smeg Tall Tank dishwasher, and there is a second identical dishwasher in the pantry. These dishwashers have a third upper cutlery basket that can accommodate long utensils. This allows more space at the bottom for large items, and provides a more hygienic, high-quality wash. The dishwashers also have Super Silent insulation a bonus when you are entertaining.

In the pantry there is a second oven, the Smeg Classic 60cm multifunction built-in oven, which provides another 79 litres of cooking capacity. The pantry also houses a Smeg microwave oven, which comes with a matching stainless steel trim kit.

Wood says Inside Vision has a strong working relationship with Smeg and frequently specifies Smeg appliances.
