Developed by Mount Curve Partners LLC and built by Erotas Building Corporation, they include these gracious Palladian style homes Authenticity is everything when you are building a home that references a particular architectural vernacular. It's a process that was closely followed in the development of the Mount Curve four-unit townhouse project, organized by Mount Curve Partners, LLC and built by Erotas Building Corporation. Both companies say the development needed to blend seamlessly into the gracious leafy neighborhood, and it was essential that the warmth of time and history shine through.Architectural designer Peter MacDonald of Peter Stafford and Co was commissioned to design the townhouses, which comprise three separate buildings a red brick Tudor townhouse, which is subtly connected to a beige brick Palladian townhouse, and two houses within a distinctive Palladian building with darker bricks and dark shutters.David Erotas says there is nothing else in Minneapolis quite like the development."These are high-end homes where every detail has been carefully thought through to ensure authenticity, while at the same time we've created homes that are easy to live in, and well suited to entertaining on a grand scale." The interiors of all the townhouses built by Erotas Building Corporation are light, airy and spacious and reflect great attention to detail The Tudor townhouse is defined by its steep gabled roof and painted wood battens pegged to the brick exterior. Bay windows add visual interest to the outside and interior. Two of the Italian-style Palladian townhouses, or villas, have been completed, while the interior of the third home is under construction. In keeping with the architectural style the villas have highly symmetrical facades framed by columns and arched openings with Palladian-style windows. Their low roofline and clay roofing tiles reinforce the Italian connection. On the inside, the villas are a further testament to the fine workmanship that is a hallmark of the team at Erotas Building Corporation. The homes have open, flowing spaces, with high ceilings, sweeping curved staircases and mezzanine levels that overlook the expansive circulation areas. While not overly ornate, the columns and millwork reflect a refined approach to design. The interior shown on these pages, designed by Carol Belz of Carol Belz and Associates, features walnut floors with area rugs used to define the different seating groups.Erotas says working with Mount Curve Partners offers potential homeowners the best of all worlds."The development is within a picturesque neighborhood, and Mount Curve Partners has ensured there will be no compromise on any aspect of the project. There is even a concierge homeowners association to simplify the needs of home ownership, and Erotas Building Corporation can provide services and home maintenance for owners on an ongoing basis." Interior is by Carl Belz and Associates. Special features include a soft, romantic master suite that opens to a Juliet balcony, and blue gray painted cabinetry and millwork. There is a refined elegance in the formal living space. Future homeowners are also assured of an especially high standard of construction."We have our own team of carpenters, who are highly experienced in all aspects of construction," says Erotas."We take a very personal approach with clients, walking them through every step of the process, helping them with every decision, no matter how big or small."For more details, contact Erotas Building Corporation, www.erotasbuildingcorp.com.
