A variety of surfaces and finishes transformed the building lobby. Painting.com.au played an important part in the seamless fit-out
Included on the agenda for the fit-out was a refined, contemporary aesthetic. A high level of skill was required to achieve the pristine surfaces demanded by the client this applied to everything from the external weatherproofing systems to the interior wall treatments.
Painting.com.au was asked to carry out several roles, both inside 175 Liverpool Street and out. On the exterior, the company was responsible for all facade rectifications, repairs to defective render, and the application of waterproof compounds, says general manager Mark Poletto.
"In conjunction with UBW, we also completed external cladding on all lower areas," says Poletto. "On the interior, work involved painting the foyers and carparks, hanging wallpaper in foyers and also painting several internal floors."
Despite hold-ups due to wind and rain and the hassle of working in an operational public area, the work was all finished on time and to budget.
Painting.com.au currently holds preventative maintenance contracts at DP World Port Botany and Mascot Jet Base. The company also carries out industrial, commercial and architectural projects throughout the east coast of Australia.
