Each appliance in this kitchen features the Iridium stainless steel finish. This satin, non-marking surface provides an almost frosted appearance.

The kitchen incorporates the new DishDrawer® with a flat front, which comes with a bold, square architectural handle. Part of Fisher & Paykel's Quantum collection, the DishDrawer is designed to complement other appliances in the series, including the new Iridium refrigerator, shown above left.

This refrigerator features contemporary styling and can be paired with a matching vertical freezer. The refrigerators can be connected with a special joiner kit, which seals the gap between the units to achieve a seamless, all-in-one look. These new models also feature the square-edged handles that reflect current design trends.

Other Fisher & Paykel products in this kitchen include the re-styled Astro double oven, a Titan gas cooktop and a Titan rangehood. The multifunctional Astro double oven offers two fully functional ovens and a powerful 3300W grill element. It also has an automatic operation and self-cleaning catalytic liners.

The new Titan gas cooktop is another recent release from Fisher & Paykel. National marketing manager Tony Sweeney says this 900mm cooktop features controls that offer an unprecedented 180° gas valve rotation most cooktop valves rotate through 70°.

"The greater rotation of the valve spindle enables a progressive broad range of control settings for each burner from low to high. This provides greater flexibility and cooking accuracy," he says. "Serious cooks will appreciate Titan's low simmer function something not usually associated with gas cooktops."
