The sky's the limit
The new SkyCity Grand Hotel is designed to integrate both with the nearby conference centre and with the rest of the city's architecture
Convention delegates and other guests can choose from a variety of public and private facilities on the hotel's 21 levels. These include restaurants, a gymnasium, swimming pool and a private members' club lounge offering 24-hour guest service and wireless and broadband connectivity.
Guests using the outdoor balcony and restaurant in the club lounge on the seventh level are protected from the weather by LouvreTec hand-adjustable 180mm Airfoil Louvre Blades utilising the company's new Spiral Pivot System. Both are designed and installed by LouvreTec Products. These blades provide adjustable sun control, so guests can enjoy full winter sun, be protected from summer sun or vary levels at other times. The Spiral Pivot System can be motorised or hand-operated, and has a hidden gear mechanism, giving it a sleek look that complements the architecture of the building.
LouvreTec designs, manufactures and installs a comprehensive range of modern internal and external aluminium louvre systems.
