Abathroom is often the yardstick by which guests remember and judge a hotel once their stay is over. A comfortable, functional and luxurious bathroom goes a long way towards ensuring they enjoy their accommodation.

The architects' objective was to give all the bathrooms in the hotel a contemporary look. To do this, products from Caroma Industries were specified, including the square Liano basin and the Fowler Newport Cube toilet suite.

As well as the semi-recessed basins selected for the SkyCity Grand Hotel, Liano is also available as an above-counter, under-counter, hand basin, inset basin or wall basin.

The Fowler Newport Cube toilet suite combines European-influenced design with practicality. Its back-to-wall installation makes it easy to clean, an important consideration in a hotel.

Caroma's commercial manager, Simon Lavery, says while Caroma is well-known for its quality products, aesthetics and technical expertise, to win this project the package also had to include a comprehensive sales and service programme. This included providing technical expertise and spare parts for ongoing maintenance.
