In the kitchen featured here, the Smeg range of cooking appliances offers variety both in terms of practical function and in the visual appearance of the room.

The Smeg 70cm oven has been specially engineered to offer a 90cm capacity. This is achieved by reducing the size of the side panels and installing the controls at the top.

This oven can be installed anywhere in the room, such as beneath the benchtop or in tall cabinets that line the wall. Its versatile style is matched by multifunctional cooking features that include a rotisserie option.

The Smeg gas cooktop has five burners, each with flame failure to ensure complete safety. The specially designed wok burner at the centre of the cooktop provides a low simmer option for close temperature control.

Above the cooktop, the Smeg rangehood is concealed inside the stainless steel soffit and chimney. This fully integrated rangehood is 70cm wide and is equipped with LED displays for ease of use.

The multipurpose controls feature a prompt to alert the homeowners to when the stainless steel filters require cleaning.

There is also a delayed stop function enabling the controls to be programmed in advance, so that the rangehood will automatically switch off.

In addition to providing for everyday cooking requirements, Smeg offers flexible appliances that can assist with entertaining.

The Smeg microwave featured here doubles as a convection oven. This offers additional oven capacity when homeowners are catering for large numbers of guests. In combination with its microwave functions, this appliance offers five different cooking combinations.

Its flexibility extends to design options that include a stainless steel trim kit. This provides a tailored surround which ensures the appliance fits seamlessly inside the cabinetry.
