As more people buy LCD televisions for home use, they expect the same or superior technology when they visit a five-star hotel.

Many hotels are now upgrading their old televisions to meet their customers' demands. The Sofitel hotel features Philips 32-inch Pixel Plus LCD flat televisions in all suite lounges, and 26-inch LCD flat televisions in all bedrooms. The bar has a 42-inch Pixel Plus plasma and penthouses come with a large 50-inch Pixel Plus plasma.
