Dunedin-based Kitchen Focus works in Otago region
Eye-catching kitchens all have a point of difference a feature that creates a real talking point.
For this kitchen in a Wanaka house, it is the distinctive floating cabinetry that is turning heads. The kitchen, designed and built by Kitchen Focus in Dunedin, features prefinished Infinity Tawa Melteca cabinets that are cantilevered off the wall.
The base cabinets, which have 700mm-deep Caesarstone benchtops, incorporate an integrated 900mm-wide Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer next to the oven. These units are complemented by a matching bank of overhead cabinets and shelving that also floats off the wall.
Spencer Bremner, director of Kitchen Focus, says the design was developed after discussion with the clients about the look they wanted to achieve.
"The project was typical of the work we do. We go out of our way to provide joinery solutions that are exactly what a client has in mind, be it for a kitchen, family room, wardrobe or bathroom."
