Solid versatility
Floors, walls, and splashbacks this porcelain stoneware material can be applied to a host of surfaces, in internal and external areas
Stone flooring adds a sense of cool refinement and sleekness to a room. Using this material in other areas, such as walls and splashbacks, can increase the impact and create a classical feel in a space.
Available from Rocks On - Hard Surface Solutions, Kerlite is a full-bodied porcelain stoneware that can be applied on many surfaces, such as splashbacks and internal and external wall cladding. To extend this versatility to the floors, Rocks On has now released Kerlite Plus. Rocks On's John Berry says that this material can be applied directly over wood, ceramic or compact surfaces.
"As the name suggests, Kerlite and Kerlite Plus are made from a lightweight material. Each 1 x 3m sheet weighs only 20kg, so it is suitable for applications such as lifts, boat fit-outs and wall cladding."
The material is easy to cut, making it possible to create slabs to fit any measurements. It is also frost, UV, scratch, stain and slip resistant, is proofed against graffiti and is fire retardant.
