Every project has its challenges, and this one was no exception. As in most high-rises, the plumbing and sewer lines were located in the centre of the building, well away from where they were required. Traditional plumbing methods would have seen a huge portion of the budget allocated to achieve the layout and design. The solution was to install a Saniflo grey wastewater pump.
The Sanispeed is a small-bore greywater pump system well suited to commercial applications, such as staff kitchens, boardrooms, coffee stations and bars. Its commercially rated motor pumps up to 7m vertically or 70m horizontally, or a lesser combination of both, to the main sewer stack.
Saniflo pumps offer an inexpensive but effective way of designing a space, as there is no need to cut through a concrete core or engage in expensive reinstatement works.
Saniflo has been manufacturing small-bore pumps and macerating systems for more than 50 years, and has sold almost seven million pumps worldwide. With specific models for commercial and domestic applications, there are flexible and simple solutions that allow water-using facilities to be installed anywhere in the building.
