A CO-OPERATIVE construction style, built around flexibility and teamwork, allowed D&H Steel Construction to finish workshop drawings, fabrication and the erection of 1000 tonnes of structural steel for the north and south precincts at Sylvia Park.

Initially D&H Steel supplied 380 tonnes of structural steel to 15 different workfaces around the main concrete structure. This increased to 700 tonnes at 22 workfaces, including feature steel structures, such as skylights, canopies and the prow.

Despite a complex design process and increased volume and intricacy of work, the team at D&H Steel met all deadlines.
