To help achieve a clean, uncluttered look in Portside Wharf's three apartment complexes, the project architect approached Stegbar. The company supplied and installed the apartments' wardrobe sliding doors, shower doors and mirrors for the commercial development.

Two of the apartment blocks were fitted with semi-frameless shower doors from Stegbar's Grange series. Infinity, the most high-end of the three residential developments, was fitted with 10mm frameless clear glass showerscreens. The doors were installed into shower recesses that are flush with the tiled floors.

"The doors were specified because they fit in with the waterfront apartments' high-end aesthetic. They give the bathrooms a clean and contemporary look," says Stegbar's operations manager Paul Garrett. "The hinges and door handles are solid brass and chrome plated, which means they will not corrode or rust."

Semi-frameless shower doors were installed in the Loft and Flare apartments, with a 6mm-glass door and aluminium frame and fittings. The company fitted wardrobe sliding doors in the bedrooms in all three apartment complexes, and mirrors in the cloakrooms and changing rooms in the retail units and restaurants.
