Part of attending to a guest's dining pleasure is ensuring the wine, white or red, arrives at table at the correct drinking temperature. To this end, professional-level wine cabinets in use and on display are invaluable assets to the business.

Mille Vini restaurant and bar offers almost 1000 wines for patrons to choose from. With a reputation for serving exquisite wines, the restaurant optimises its stock in trade by keeping the wine at exactly the temperature required.

Commercial refrigeration, cellaring and catering equipment specialist Crown Commercial provided the task-specific wine cabinets for the popular restaurant. Three humidity-controlled Transtherm Ermitage wine cabinets were chosen to take pride of place behind the well-stocked bar.

The benefits of the single-temperature Ermitage are many. The solid, deep cabinets provide at-a-glance integrity Transtherm Ermitage cabinet doors and cabinets are available in a dark wood grain, black, stainless steel or brushed aluminium. Alternatively, a glass door with a metal frame lets the wine speak for itself.

Ermitage wine cabinets have adjustable wooden shelves, three sliding and three for storage, and a 229-bottle capacity. A glass-door-only version has 13 sliding racks and a 179-bottle capacity. Additional shelves and optional presentation shelves are also available.

The chic cabinets stand out in a darkened dining environment with a white internal LED light and an electronic temperature control and display. Other features include four adjustable feet, a hygrometer to track humidity levels, a locking facility and the option of left- or right-hinged design to suit the environment.

If total discretion is required, the solid-door model can be integrated into the cabinetry.
