The designer of this house, Chris Clout of Chris Clout Design, took the idea one step further and created a house in the shape of a large seashell. The design reference is enhanced by the colours chosen for both the exterior and interior. The colours are from the Resene The Range Whites & Neutrals a comprehensive collection of 360 neutral shades from white through to black. The collection provides up to six strength variations of popular Resene colours.Resene Napa, a grey-beige neutral, features on the exterior, while eaves and feature beams are painted in Resene Quarter Parchment, a pearly grey hue. Interior plasterboard walls are finished in Resene Zylone Sheen waterborne low sheen tinted to Resene Quarter Sisal a pale hemp shade. Feature walls are in Resene Pravda, a sober beige.
