Kohler has released two faucet collections designed to do just that. The Cruette and Ballera kitchen faucets, shown on these pages, demonstrate that traditional design and modern convenience can coexist and complement each other, says Daniel Brohn, vice president of marketing for Kohler Global Faucets.

"The Cruette has a graceful high arc that provides easy clearance for pot filling or for cleaning large items a feature that's sure to be appreciated by home chefs," he says. "We have also added solid, sculpted buttons that make it easy to adjust the spray, even when hands are wet and soapy."

The faucet has three sprayhead functions: aerate, spray and pause. The pause feature allows the user to extend the faucet use beyond the sink basin. Other key features include a single-lever handle that is effortless to use and Kohler's ProMotion¢ technology, which creates a quiet, light, easy-to-maneuver sprayhead.

The Bellera pull-down faucet has a similar high arc and classic modern design, but with a slimmer profile. This faucet offers the same high functionality as the Cruette. Both faucets are available in Polished Chrome and Vibrant® Stainless.
