Security would be a main consideration when hosting a world-class sporting event. For Stage 2 of the MSAC, security planning began at the design stage.

Airport Doors was tasked with manufacturing and installing internal and external roller shutters and sectional overhead doors. Many of the roller shutters specified were either transparent or slotted, helping to connect areas visually and ensure good ventilation.
