Maison et Objet

We are going through a colourful period, no doubt. In fashion, we see neons, juicy oranges and pinks and clear pastels in summer, deep earthy colours, terracotta, moss and mustard alongside nudes and shades of grey in winter.

The muted mid-tones are the calming background for brighter accents or patterns.

The colour palette is tropical, florals and fruits are everywhere, animals are our best friend, patterns and colours mix creatively rather than harmoniously. Tom Dixon works with a multitude of materials and colours and shapes (bottom left).

The big trend topics of blue and mint tones are also represented.

Bleached walnut at Cattelan Italia.

One of the trend areas (top left) was constituted by furniture in light finishes.

Vintage and kitsch in classic patterns and nostalgic colours.

Light, natural rotary veneers at Elisabeth Leriche’s trend booth – a very plain look.

They range from jade to olive greens, light terracotta, peach to nude and mustard.
