As the pace of life seems to speed up each year, many of us are looking for aesthetically pleasing homes that offer convenience and healthy living options. That was the reason Miele kitchen appliances were selected for the Palladium home, says Miele's Paul Hankinson.

"Chasecrown Living's vision was for a contemporary outlook throughout the interior one way to do this was specifying Miele appliances for the kitchen," he says.

The dishwasher, for example, is fully integrated and blends into the cabinetry. The 90cm under-bench oven is not visible from the living or dining areas, and the slim rangehood is barely visible.

The appliances that are in sight the Miele coffee machine, Miele steam oven and Miele microwave are positioned vertically flush with the line of the cabinetry for a clean, uncluttered appearance.

"This allows the kitchen's stand-out visual features to dominate," says Hankinson. "The appliances, such as the steam oven and the microwave, also offer healthy, convenient cooking choices."
