Shades of white and cream were chosen for the interior walls and ceilings, to complement the exterior paintwork and to showcase the home's modern paintings.

The light tones also create a spacious, airy interior, and complement the darker stone tiles and stained oak floors throughout much of the home.

The colours, Resene Truffle and Resene Tea, are from the Resene The Range Whites & Neutrals fandeck. The paint is Environmental Choice-approved Resene SpaceCote Low Sheen waterborne enamel. Its reduced side sheen minimises surface imperfections, which makes it useful for areas of high visibility or strong direct light. The tough acrylic enamel has a durable surface that is easy to clean and doesn't show marks or imperfections.

Recognising that indoor air quality is important, Resene has introduced Resene Zylone Sheen VOC Free to its range of Environmental Choice approved products. This low-sheen paint finish is free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), providing a better working environment for the painter. Its low odour means painted areas can be used sooner.
