In complicated international times, security has never been more important for an international sporting venue such as Eden Park. Comprehensive security services in the form of access control and alarm management were provided by First City Care, including integrated services for access control and alarm management of more than 200 doors and gates, lift control, CCTV integration, intercom services and intrusion detection systems.First City Care collaborated with Auckland-based manufacturer Integrated Control Technology (ICT) to provide a full complement of security management functions and technologies using an open architecture design. The stadium at Eden Park was fitted with ICT's state-of-the-art Protege GX management solution. System design includes quad core servers and workstations for operations and UI (user interface) management, LAN-based intelligent control modules, touch-screen technology for alarm management, MiFare smart card readers and proximity cards, as well as high-level integration to stadium CCTV services.For the new South Stand corporate boxes, First City Care chose Saflok for its smart looks and intelligent design.
