Significant upgrades to top-load washing machines by Fisher & Paykel may not have changed much cosmetically, but it's a different story on the inside
Washday blues should be a thing of the past, but that's only true when you have reliable, high-performing laundry appliances you can count on.
Fisher & Paykel, a company that has gained plaudits for its award-winning laundry appliances, recently announced significant upgrades to its range.
Peter Russell, F&P general manager, marketing, says while the upgrade includes improvements to capacity, water and energy ratings, it is fundamentally all about enhanced reliability.
"This translates into a whole lot of improvements inside the washing machine, rather than fancy cosmetic changes that don't make much difference to wash performance. You won't see a lot of variation on the outside, but you will notice improvements to the quality of the wash, and water and energy savings."
Russell says F&P's ground-breaking SmartDrive¢ technology is at the heart of all its washing machines. The DirectDrive motor within this system is now quieter, more advanced and more reliable.
As well, there are new names for the different models, summarising their point of difference QuickSmart¢, WashSmart¢, FabricSmart¢ and AquaSmart 2¢.
