MAINTAINING A sense of scale and proportion is critical for any interior design scheme. Materials and finishes may change as fashion dictates, but the basic principles remain constant.

When it came time to fit-out its Circle on Cavill apartments, developer Sunland Group turned to Fisher & Paykel Australia to specify and supply the appliances, explains Fisher & Paykel Australia's national commercial sales manager Andrew Paykel.

"Sunland was looking for a single-brand solution to carry across the kitchen and laundry appliances that would be included as standard in Circle on Cavill apartments.

Sunland Group first approached Fisher & Paykel Australia in 2004 to specify a unified appliance package for the apartments that would complement the aesthetic and specially commissioned finishes, says Paykel.

The company chose a range of stainless steel cooking appliances, including gas hobs, to accentuate the sleek stone benchtops, and integrated DishDrawers and refrigerators to provide a seamless extension to the cabinetry.

"Fisher & Paykel Australia supplied a total of 4100 appliances to Circle on Cavill through our Queensland distribution centre. On-time delivery was a critical factor for Sunland Group and was another reason why they chose us to provide the products. The other key reason they went with us again was due to our industry-leading customer care centre offering round-the-clock pre- and post-sales service," says Paykel.
