International lighting trends, including collections from the recent Light + Building Fair in Frankfurt, can now be viewed at Concept Lighting's new showroom
Colour and movement those are some of the key lighting trends that emerged from this year's Light + Building Fair in Frankfurt.
Geoff Maunsell, director of Concept Lighting, says the latest LED lamps and T5 fluorescent tubes are driving lighting design in new directions.
"New products and fittings based on these lamps are reflecting the considerable innovation within the industry," he says.
Several of these types of products are now displayed in Concept Lighting's new showroom in Apollo Drive, Mairangi Bay. The company has exclusive distribution rights for leading international brands, including Fagerhult, 3e International, Wever & Ducre, Planet, Intralux, Mareco Luce, Illuma and Unilamp.
In addition to these brands, Concept Lighting manufactures its own commercial lighting products, designed for the home and export markets. Recent projects include the new Bendon building, Rip Curl, Edex Toys, Emerald Hotels and the Sylvia Park streetscape.
The company also operates a consultancy service, providing full architectural and engineering lighting designs, and supplying product and technical data.
