Keeping up with the latest advances in kitchen appliances and culinary trends can be a time-hungry, foot-weary experience. One way to save on hours and shoe leather is to visit a showroom that has the latest kitchen innovations together in one place.

Standards of Excellence Appliances and Decorative Plumbing showrooms display a variety of appliance trends in practical, themed environments, says marketing manager Donalyn Hellar.

"Designed to inspire professionals as well as homeowners, the 8000sq ft spaces showcase over 50 domestic and foreign manufacturers," she says. "Informed staff keep clients up to speed with appliance trends such as the latest Jenn-Air Oiled Bronze and Floating Glass suites."

All showrooms host Food-for-Thought evenings, where guest chefs show off new appliance features, such as speed cooking, and create a delicious meal in the process.

"The showrooms reflect inspiration and ideas, as well as brand diversity," she says.
