His and hers - Small bathroom transformation by Drury Design
Small bathroom transformation by Drury Design
How do you transform a small master suite into a large one? The solution for this project by Drury Design was to poach extra space from a second bedroom.
Drury Design director Jim Drury says the high-end, contemporary bathroom was the result of a joint effort between the architect and designer Gail Drury CMKBD.
"With the extra space, we were able to incorporate everything on the owners' wish list a large walk-in closet, two spacious vanity areas, a large steam shower, lots of storage and a small laundry room."
Separating the two vanity areas has given each owner a private space, and was a way to incorporate a structural wall.
Dark espresso-colored cabinets ensure the room has plenty of visual warmth. These are paired with contrasting, low-maintenance quartz vanity tops.
The cabinets were built by The Grabill Cabinet Company a firm that has been handcrafting high-end bathrooms and kitchens for more than half a century. Jim Drury says Grabill maintains its original values with respect to innovative engineering and quality construction.
