To add character and a touch of history to the glamorous restaurants in the Hilton Sydney, the designers specified recycled wood flooring. Wide timber boards salvaged from the Albury Wodonga Woolstores in New South Wales were supplied by Australian Salvage Company.

The boards, complete with original nail and bolt holes, were specifically chosen for their character and patina, which is not too rustic.
