The new owners of this property carried out a complete remodel, including the kitchen. Gone are the white tile countertops and painted ivy on the soffit. In their place is a sleek, contemporary living environment.
"The formerly drab kitchen area has been opened up and brightened by removing soffits and adding more organic, curvilinear elements to the space," says designer Rona Graf.
Adds Stephanie Fryer, "The dual islands with dropped pendants offer not only additional prep and landing space, but also a distinctive look and feel."
Combining the crisp monochromatic tones of the cabinetry with the warmth of the natural wood floors creates an inviting atmosphere.
"Overall this kitchen is more than just functionally sound it truly realizes the client's wishes for the space," says Graf.
