A new polished concrete and pebble flooring compound from National Precision Flooring will provide greater design flexibility, allowing designers to customise their flooring
Right across the country from retail malls to home interiors exposed polished concrete and granolithic screed floors are changing the way we view flooring. No longer simply a functional surface underfoot, flooring is now an intrinsic design element helping to determine the look of modern interiors.
National Precision Flooring, a specialist in exposed polished granolithic screeds, is expanding its flooring collection with an innovative new range of exposed pebbles in concrete and self-levelling compounds.
Managing director Paul Lawrence says the new range, scheduled for release in August, will allow even greater design customisation.
"Clients will be able to choose from a selection of stones that will be continuous through the mix," he says. "These will be combined with a choice of base screed colours. Designers will be able to specify the percentages of each stone required in the mix."
Lawrence says franchised stores and independent groups will be able to repeat floor designs nationally.
"Such businesses can be confident and secure in the knowledge that the flooring mix will be consistent, no matter where it is laid."
