Free-flowing music
Wireless connectivity streams music from the internet or your stereo into any room in your home Sonos provides the solution

Sometimes the simplest, most appealing ideas are backed by sophisticated technologies. Imagine wireless music connections in every room of the house. The system evolved from submarine communications but all you need do to operate it is touch a screen.
Sonos, from Playback Systems, puts instant access to all your music, in any or all the rooms of your home, at your fingertips, says managing director Niv Novak.
"Sonos presents an effortless means to have total control over a range of musical sources," says Novak. "You can play all the songs stored on your PC, Mac or existing music system; tune in to thousands of free internet radio stations or enjoy millions of songs and stations from online music services your music can reach the four corners of your home, without a wire in sight."

Picking up the Sonos Controller puts you in total control. You can flick to browse, type to search and then touch to play much like a portable MP3 device in tune with your whole house. You can turn off the music upstairs from downstairs, change the song in the kitchen from the study, play the same song in every room or different songs in different rooms.
"Sonos was designed to work right out of the box no technical expertise required," says Novak. "All you need is a high-speed internet connection and a router. Then simply open the box, decide where you want music and enjoy.
"No clutter, no wires, no fiddling required just an unobtrusive Sonos ZonePlayer¢ and speakers in the rooms of your choice."
